About

Mateo Serrano is a fictional Seville classical guitarist created for platform testing. Trained in the Spanish classical tradition and steeped in the rhythms of his native Andalusia, he performs a refined blend of classical repertoire, flamenco-influenced pieces, and tasteful arrangements of familiar melodies. His playing brings warmth and intimacy to wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, garden parties, and quiet corporate receptions, where a single expressive guitar can transform the atmosphere of a room. He works closely with couples and planners to choose processional and recessional music that fits each moment, and he is happy to learn a special request when given enough notice. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, he is comfortable serving international clients and destination-wedding parties travelling to southern Spain, and he takes pride in arriving early, dressing elegantly, and performing with quiet, attentive professionalism from the first guest's arrival to the final note of the evening.

Travel

Performs throughout Andalusia, including Seville, Córdoba, Granada, and the coast, with travel included within the region. Available for destination events elsewhere in Spain and Europe; travel and lodging quoted per engagement.

Equipment

Performs on his own concert classical guitar with discreet amplification suitable for gardens and mid-sized rooms. For ceremonies over 120 guests or noisy outdoor sites, a modest PA is recommended and can be coordinated.

Accessibility

Can perform seated at floor level or on a low platform for accessible venues. Quieter, gentler sets available on request. Happy to confirm shaded, step-free positioning for outdoor ceremonies in advance.

Working policies

A deposit reserves the date and is refundable up to 30 days before the event. Special-request pieces should be confirmed at least three weeks ahead. Outdoor performances require shade and dry cover for the instrument, as heat and moisture affect tuning. Please confirm the ceremony timeline and any cue moments one week before the event.
