About

Aarav Deshmukh is a fictional Mumbai sitarist created for QA testing. Trained in the Hindustani classical tradition, he performs ragas suited to the time and mood of an event, from serene morning gatherings to celebratory evening receptions. He brings a meditative, transporting quality to cultural programmes, weddings, wellness and yoga events, and gallery openings, and he also collaborates in fusion settings, weaving sitar into contemporary, jazz, and world-music arrangements. Working in Hindi and English, he explains the music warmly for audiences new to it, and he can perform solo or with a tabla accompanist to add rhythmic depth to the sound.
