About
Le Grand Orchestre de Jazz Nocturne de Montparnasse is a fictional Paris big band created for QA testing. Seventeen musicians — full saxophone, trumpet, and trombone sections over a swinging rhythm section, fronted by a charismatic vocalist — bring the golden-age big-band sound to corporate galas, festivals, grand weddings, and concert stages. Their book ranges from classic swing and bebop to Latin jazz and lush ballads, arranged to fill a ballroom and ignite a dance floor. Equally capable of an elegant dinner set and a roaring finale, the orchestra is meticulous about presentation and timing. Planning is handled in French and English for local and international clients alike.

EquipmentThe orchestra provides backline and section microphones. Given the ensemble size, the venue provides front-of-house PA, monitors, and a stage of at least eight by six metres; technical requirements are confirmed against a rider in advance.
AccessibilityRequires a large stage; ground-level staging can be arranged for accessible venues where space allows. Dinner-appropriate lower-volume sets available alongside full-force dance sets. Programme notes available for concert presentations.
Working policiesA signed agreement and deposit confirm the booking; cancellation terms scale with the size of the engagement and are defined in the contract. A stage plot and technical rider are provided and must be met for a seventeen-piece ensemble. Set lengths, dinner-versus-dance balance, and any featured songs are finalised two weeks ahead.
