About
Bloco Maré Baixa Percussão is a fictional Salvador percussion ensemble created for QA testing. Rooted in the Afro-Brazilian traditions of Bahia, the group delivers thunderous, joyful samba-reggae, afoxé, and carnival rhythms on surdos, timbaus, repiniques, and agogôs. Whether leading a street parade, igniting a festival crowd, or animating a corporate or community celebration, the ensemble scales from a compact roving group to a full battery, always with tight, choreographed energy and irresistible drive. Coordinating in Portuguese and English, the group works with organisers to plan processions, stage sets, and interactive moments that pull audiences into the rhythm.
